SPEC Reader

The Secondary Readers from SPEC enable the reader points to be increased or decreased and access to be authorised through all access points.

The readers from SPEC combine multiple reader technology:

- Biometric: systems with optical or capacitive readers

- Magnetic cards

- RFID cards: Unique, Mifare

- Smart cards

- Electronic ID

- PIN

- Bar codes

- License plates

The biometric readers contain the latest generation fingerprint sensor which can accept a fingerprint as they only source of identification or, if a PIN or card is used as a means of identification, the fingerprint is accepted as verification.

Directly connected to all of the SPEC terminals with anti-vandal and weatherproof protection

Can be connected to other security hardware, such as bolts, turnstiles and barriers.
