Hendon Security Door
Certified to LPS 1175 Rating 2

Hendon doorsets have been developed especially to resist forced entry using bodily physical force and tools with a high mechanical advantage that might be used in an opportunistic attack.

The Hendon doorsets have been successfully tested and certified as meeting LPS 1175 rating 2. High-density laminated hardwood cores and the robust structural design ensure these doors have a level of formidable yet discreet strength, aesthetically hidden behind their stylish appearance.

The Hendon door structure has inherent fire and smoke resistance. The range includes certified 30- and 60-minute fire resistant options.

The Hendon doorset can be supplied primed, painted, veneered or laminated. Veneers can be matched to provide a doorset that is both attractive and in harmony with its surroundings.

There is a choice of mortice-fitted or surface-mounted single- or multi-point locking devices, including HM Government designed Medway, Avon or Fraser Bar devices commensurate with certification of the Hendon doorset.

A selection of key cylinders from leading manufacturers are available, to enable suiting with existing requirements.

The degree of choice provides the Hendon doorset with the ability to meet almost all operational requirements. These include access control, key or combination lock operation.

This can be combined with emergency or panic exit requirements.

From design through to manufacture, the Hendon doorset receives meticulous attention to detail. The ironmongery on both lock and hinge side complements the strength of the high-density hardwood door and frame to ensure performance to the Hendon specification.

Concealed Locking System
A choice of mortice-fitted single-point locks are available to meet most operational requirements.

These include conventional deadlocks, sashlocks, nightlocks and electrical locks for industrial/commercial access control or hotel bedroom applications.

The Hendon doorset can be supplied fitted with panic or emergency exit systems that meet the European Standards, BS EN 1125:1997 and BS EN 179:1998.

Concealed systems feature:

- A choice of deadlock, sashlock or electric lock
- Key or access control entry
